Frequently Asked Questions
Where is the Catamaran located?
The home-port of the 'HOWDOO' is Marina Veruda in Pula, Croatia. The well equiped marina is only a 15 minute taxi drive from Pula airport with direct flights to and from various cities in Europe directly.

What is the capacity of the catamaran?
The 'HOWDOO' comfortably accommodates 6 to 8 people, featuring three spacious double bed cabins, additional sleeping options in the salon. On the port side is the large (owners) bathroom with shower and (electric) head, on starboard a smaller bathroom also equipped with a shower and (electric) head
Can I rent the catamaran without a skipper?
Yes, the 'HOWDOO' is available for bareboat charters, provided you're experianced and feel comfortable handling such a vessel. You must have a valid sailing license and VHF certificate, please contact us when in doubt. A professional skipper can also be hired for an additional fee of 200€ a day.
Either way you'll be in contact with our charter base to welcome you on-board, explain every thing you need to know and be available in case of any questions or troubles.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is on Saturday from 5:00 PM, and check-out is on Saturday before 9:00 AM. The catamaran must be returned to the home marina on Friday evening. Early check-in or late check-out can be requested upon availability.
What equipment is provided onboard?
The 'HOWDOO' comes with modern navigation and safety equipment, a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, bedding, optional Wi-Fi, and optional paddleboard. Towels can be requested for an additional fee.
What additional costs should I expect?
The refundable deposit of 3500€ and a starter charter pack of 350€ (including dinghy, outboard, linen and final cleaning) are obligatory extra costs. Additional costs include fuel, transit log fees, tourist taxes, and marina fees (other than Pula).
How can I check availability and make a booking?
As availability changes quickly we advise to contact us via email or phone. We're happy to place an option to give you sufficient time to organise the rest of your trip.
Are there reccommendations for routes and destinations?
Yes, we can provide suggested routes along the Adriatic coast, including hidden bays, cultural landmarks, and scenic islands, perfect for every sailing adventure.
What should I bring for the trip?
We recommend comfortable clothing, sunscreen, sunglasses, swimwear, personal medication, and towels for personal use. Towels can be requested for an additional fee.
